When choosing between PowerStop’s top of the line brake pads Z23 and Z26, what you’ll really need to know is what kind of performance you’ll want out of your pads.

Z23 is designed for increased braking power for a daily-driven car, truck, SUV or crossover.

Z26 is designed for extreme street braking performance on high performance vehicles.

  1. Lmao this video creates more questions than answers

  2. I would not recommend buying Power Stop products. Both front calipers locked up in just under 2 years and when I contacted their customer service department all I got was “sorry they are out of warranty”. If my product failed in that short of time, I would want it back for research purposes unless I already knew I was selling a subpar product.

  3. You guys have a great product and are a very popular option on Rock Auto. My only gripe are with your re-manufactured red calipers. I would love to get a set of them but they have very sketchy reviews across the board online and are not new. They’re priced as if they were new though… Back when I was a mechanic we often times had issues with reman. calipers and eventually stopped selling them.

  4. I had the Z26’s on my E36 and let me tell you, when they are cold or the weather is cold they have absolutely no stopping power, the NEED, NEED to be hot or up operating temps in order to provide what they advertise. Im testing the Z23s now.

  5. Ordered the z23 🤞🏼they have more bite over the z17’s not that the 17’s are bad they just are lazy on that initial panic stop
