  1. Was the bracket used to install larger rotors because it looks to me you used the original calipers and brake pads ??? Also the part numbers for the bracket and rotors would be great .. I own a Focus Titanium with the ST sport package that I’m slowly converting to an ST. Truly enjoy your vids on the Focus .. thanks :))

  2. Love the videos.
What kind of focus is this?
I’m running an SE right now and slowly doing some work to it. Just did an intake and getting on to exhaust next. Need some advice on it really.

I’m also looking to do a disc conversion on the rear. Any suggestions for where to get the parts? Junkyard? New?

  3. We are going through this now on a customer’s 2017 FoST, he has the RS calipers and pads for a conversion.
    Quick breakdown for the viewers:

The FoST and RS rear calipers are the same part, same dimensions.

    The MOUNTING BRACKETS are different.

You can use OE FoRS rear calipers and brackets with the OE FoST rear rotors.

But if you want to use the larger FoRS rear rotors (highly recommended), you will NEED these fancy new Mazda 5 caliper brackets to the tune of ~$130-170 USD (ea), depending on your source. These brackets put the calipers further out to clear the FoRS rotors.

The front FoRS Brembo 4-piston calipers are a direct bolt on for the FoST, provided you trim ~3/4″ off each side of the crescent on the backing plates, and verify wheel clearance. Brembo calipers are burly. They require lots of extra space near the barrels of the wheels, and the outer spokes.
