  1. Ceramic pads from O’Reillys and autozone produce more brake dust than any pads I’ve used in my entire life. I keep getting warped rotors, too, and I have a feeling that the brake pads are responsible as, as they heat up, they are depositing too much material onto the rotor and causing excessive friction and heat. Not 100% sure but I’m going back to semi metalic.

  2. Very uninspiring video

Hawk race pads for me on the street and nothing else. If they squeek a little so be it. I know im stopping better then anybody else and they still stop great in wet weather.

  4. I’m used to and have ALWAYS used semi metalics !
As they warm you can feel like the pedal almost coming up under your foot.
I bought a later model car, and didn’t trust the way it stopped.
Found out only ceramics were available for it, but replaced pads anyway.
    No difference.
I’m terrified with those pads at high speeds or hard driving.
(ps. I drove late model stock cars for YEARS)
I’ll stick with the hotter they get, the more pedal you got.
    Yes…heat within reason.

  5. Brakes? What is it?
